Board Shorts for Men!

Hey y'all, since we made an amazing post yesterday for the ladies..we had to make sure we came with it for the fellas today. We're going to do our best to give y'all some tips on selecting board-shorts for these summer months!

Now we're aware that the Jordan Shorts be coming through, when it comes to those last minute decisions to go swimming. However, they can be very unflattering when it comes to getting out the pool. Let's just say the surrounding audience may get a little more than they ask for....(butt peeks lol!!) No but seriously, the material of the Jordan Shorts soaks up all the water, and it makes it very difficult for you to keep them up, in and out of the water. So check out some of the options below for different styles.

Let's start off with these board-shorts..These are going to be swim-trunks closest to what you may be used to  when it comes to Jordan Shorts. Not so much in the material, but more so when it comes to the length. They come in a various amount of colors and patterns and you can purchase them just about anywhere that sells men's fashion. If you look over to the picture, the man is wearing board-shorts. They are up on his waist and they hit him right at the knee. This is a very flattering look, and they give you some extra breathing room something that you should be looking for when it comes to a short...so that you're not overheated.

Here are some links to some different board-shorts:
-If you're on the slim side (we're talking soulja boy, wiz khalifa slim) we suggest going with a horizontal stripe, something similar to those to the left.It gives you a little more width and could be just what you need to stand out amongst the buff guys in the water. Here is a link for horizontal stripes...Even these Quiksilver Board Shorts will work!

-Looking to look a little taller, vertical stripes is what you look for, also try going with a lighter color. Like the ones to the right..They give the illusion of you looking longer and leaner. Check out these, they'll give you the length you need.

-Want to stand out at the pool? Try a bright or bold pattern, such as the one to the bottom left, it gives you the attention that you are longing for. Also a bold print is suggested for those that have a wider chest, and smaller legs...The loud print will bring the attention down to your shorts and balance you out. These Bob Marley Board Shorts, bring just the amount of attention you need or you could even do these Matix Brand Board shorts!

-Lastly, we wanted to give an option for those that are trying to appear a bit slimmer.(look to the right) Going with a solid darker color will do just the trick. Just like the ladies, black is your best friend when it comes to looking slim. These all black Hurley board-shorts are just what you're looking for.

Finally, we wanted to give you bold men out there our opinion on the "European" swim attire. If you want to go that route, all we can say is that we gave you some tips to make it look appropriate.
Just make sure that the fit is correct and not too tight. Don't want them to be cutting off any circulation or cutting into your skin. Also, you may try to make sure to go with a solid color, black seems to be the most appropriate when it comes to this type of swimwear. Here's an example ;)

Well guys, we hope this week was somewhat entertaining for you and that you found some information of use! Let us know if you have any questions or comments! Thank you for all the support.

Swimsuits!!

Well ladies...judging from the title of the post, you can see that today's post will be about swimsuits. What about swimsuits you ask...well we thought we make this post as useful as possible and make it over the right swimsuit for your body type. We know it's hot outside and the 4th of July is coming up...so this is the perfect time to do this post so it'll give you time to purchase a swimsuit or two! So sit back, relax, take notes, and go out and buy your perfect swimsuit!

Body Type 1: Small on the top

If you are small on the top...meaning small cup size.. you can do one of these swimsuit top styles:
  •  A swimsuit top with fringe or ruffles. Fringe and ruffles with give the illusion that you have something up top.
  • A swimsuit top with a touch of padding. Maybe try one that is printed so it can take away from the look of padding.
  • A swimsuit top with under-wire or a banded bottom to give you a lift to add cleavage.
  • A swimsuit top with adjustable straps at the shoulders and or/ around the neck. You can adjust them to lift things up and add cleavage as well.
  • A bandeau top will look great as well since you have a small bust.. Find one with a little padding and a print.
Here are some swimsuit links :

Body Type 2: Full up Top

  • An under-wire swimsuit top. These tops give you support and lift just like a bra.
  • A swimsuit top with a banded halter. These type of tops give you support and coverage and can be less obvious than under-wire.
  • A thick strap halter swim top. These tops secure your chest. Thin string/straps can accentuate your top in an unflattering way, almost as if you're popping out.
  • A V-Neck One piece. These swimsuits accentuate your top half because they show off the right amount of cleavage versus covering them up and making you look really top heavy.
Here are some swimsuit links for your type of suggested swimsuits:

One-Piece Halter Swimsuit <---- Self-Tie Halter to tighten or loosen for support. V-Neck to provide cleavage.
Push-Up Banded Halter and Matching Bottoms <---- Removable padding so you wont add more up top. The banded halter is wide for added support.
Push-Up Bandeau Top and Bottoms <---- Removable padding. Under-wire to provide support.

Body Type 3: A Bit of a Tummy

  • One-Piece swimsuits with ruching are great! The ruching  camouflages whatever you have to hide and the detailing takes away from it.
  • Belted One-Piece. A belted one-piece will cinch the waist and creates a the illusion of an hourglass figure.
  •  If you want to do a two-piece swimsuit, try a tankini. The top will hide whatever you want. Make sure it's not too short or too tight because that could be unflattering.
  • Black. Black can be slimming. So try a tankini in black or a one-piece in black. With some embellishing up top to take away from the mid-section.
  • Bold florals and prints take attention away from the mid-section.
  • Vertical and diagonal stripes are best. They elongate your figure. Stay away from horizontal stripes because they can make you look wide.
Here are some suggested swimsuits:

Push -Up Halter Tankini and Bottom <---- Come in black. Tankini to cover-up mid-section. Back Detailing to take away from front.
Zebra Print Tankini <---- Bold print. Contrasted Empire Waistband to cinch in the waist.
Ruched One-Piece <---- Ruching  camouflages whatever you would like to hide and takes away from it as well.

Body Type 4: Big Bottom

  • A swimsuit with a plunging neckline. This type of one-piece will bring attention up top and balance you out.
  • A swimsuit with a darker bottom and lighter top. The darker bottom will give you a slimming effect and the lighter top will bring attention up top.
  • A Low-Cut bottom. This type of bottom can slim you down a bit versus a high-rise bottom that can ride up and give you wedgie.
  • Avoid boy shorts. The can make your bottom look bigger.
Here are some links to suggested swimsuits:

Wireless Push-Up Monokini <---- One-Piece with a plunging neckline. Jewel Trim at hips, kind of low-rise to slim the bottom.
Low-Rise Bottom and Top <---- Low-Rise to slim the bottom and you an mix the top and bottom to do a darker bottom and lighter top.
Cut-Out Ruffle Monokini <---- Plunging neckline and ruffle detailing up top to take attention from bottom. Low-rise bottom to also slim you.

Body Type 5: Lean Figure

Few things are off limits for people with lean figures. Anything goes to accentuate your lean figure or give you curves.

  • Swimsuits with horizontal stripes can make you look wider if you want to add some curves.
  • Boy-Shorts bottoms. These bottoms can make you look like you have somewhat of a booty.
  • Light colors and small prints. Since you're lean/petite you want dainty prints and colors so you are not "over-powered".
  • Ruffles and Fringe/Frills will add more volume up top, bottom, or both wherever that detailing is.
  • Regular string bikinis. These look great since you are so lean if you you want to show it off.
Here are some suggested swimsuits:

We hope that we gave you some helpful insight on swimsuits for your specific body type. If we left any out that you were wondering about, let us know and we'll inbox you information and suggestions!! :-)

"Motivational Monday"

"If I didn't define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people's fantasies for me and eaten alive."
-Audre Lorde

We think what Audre was trying to say in this quote was basically to determine/know who you are. Only you can define yourself, you know you best. If you don't define yourself, you always be what other people think of you and do what other people want for you, and that will eventually consume your life. Basically, do what makes you happy. Follow your dreams, achieve your own goals for yourself, and fulfill your purpose that God has given you, not another person.

Summer Essential #3 for Men: Henley Shirts

Okay fellas, the summer essential series ends with today's post. From the title of the post, you should know that it will be over henley shirts. Henleys are collarless shirts that usually have 2 or more buttons at the top of them. Of course we're going to give you some pictures on examples on how they have been worn and tell you how to recreate the outfits!

All of the henley looks come from Matt Bomer in his photoshoot with GQ

For look number 1, Matt is seen to the left in a white, short-sleeve henley shirt and jeans. We can't see the shoes but we'll give you some ideas on how to wear them.
For starters, take this Pocket Henley Shirt in white.   and pair it with these Grey Jeans, both items from Urban Outfitters. For shoes do something involving color since the shirt is white and the jeans are grey. Try these Tree Espadrille Shoes also from Urban in the Red color or Navy.
If you wanted to do some color up top, take this  Green 2 Button Y-Neck Henley and of course unbutton it. For jeans, do this pair of Indigo Denim Jeans and this Brown Belt both from Urban Outfitters. For shoes, you can do something similar to these Khaki-Colored Keds or if you wanted to dress the henley up, try these Brown Double Bottom Moccasins

Moving right along to look number 2.....

In the picture to the right, Matt has on his henley shirt but decided to dress it up a bit with a cardigan. He again just went with a simple pair of denim jeans and it looks like a pair of brown lace-up boots.
To recreate something similar to this outfit, take this Blue and Charcoal Grey Striped V-Neck Henley and pair it with this plain Black Cardigan. Don't forget to roll those sleeves up since it's a little warm outside. Lol. For jeans you can do the same grey ones listed above in tip 1. As for shoes, try something similar to these Black Combat Boots. If you didn't want to do boots, you can always do something like this pair of Turquoise Vans . The last pair of shoes suggested would add some additional color to the outfit and leave you not feeling so hot since you already have a cardigan on.

Last but not least...look number 3. This henley was worn more on the dressy side as well. He has on a red and white varsity henley, with a pair of white pants, and what looks like brown boots.
To get a similar look without the same exact pieces, start out with this Navy/Red two tone henley. For bottoms, do a pair of these Chino Pants in light grey. For shoes, you can try these pair of White/Light Grey Oxfords  or these White/Blue Fred Perry Boat Shoes

As you notice, the post is pretty short due to the fact that henleys are a pretty easy thing to dress up and dress down. There wasn't a lot of explaining to do on this item. We hope we gave you a few outfit ideas that you liked in this post and that you go out and get them! Next week's tip will be enlightening so you should definitely stayed tuned! :-)

Summer Essential #3 Rompers

Okay ladies, we know that we didn't post your tip yesterday so we are doing a double post today! This week and tip ends our "Summer Essentials series". From the title of the post, you should know that we will be  covering rompers!
Rompers are so comfortable and convenient to wear on top of being cute! They definitely cater to this hot weather and aren't too hard to dress up and dress down. Of course we'll be telling you how to wear rompers casually and dressy; so sit back, relax, take notes, and then go out and buy them! Lol

Look 1 comes from Beyonce wearing her romper casually. She is seen to the right wearing a brightly colored, printed romper with just a black pair of sandals. It looks as though she doesn't really have on accessories since the romper was so "busy" as far as print and color go. So we're going to tell you how to recreate this outfit with similar pieces but accessorize it as well.
Okay, let's start with this Aqua Tribal Art Romper from Forever 21. You can pair the romper with these Braided Suedette Sandals  in the beige or brown color. If you didn't want to do sandals, try something different and do these Taupe Pointed Leatherette Flats. As far as accessories go, keep it simple since the print is kind of busy and the color is a bit bright. Put on these Gold "LOVE" studs with a bangle set like this Gold and Purple Cleo Bangle Set to make the bangle pop against the aqua color and the neutral colored sandals/shoes. If you wanted to kind of dress this romper up, try these Taupe Wide Strap Wood Platform Sandals and you can keep the same accessories!

Moving Right Along to Look Number 2 from Blake Lively. She is seen in the picture below to the left in a printed romper worn on the dressy side.

Blake has on a teal printed romper worn with plain black pumps. For accessories, you can just see a necklace. You can even wear a simple pair of studs with this if you wanted to. To get a  look close to this one, start with this Geometric Shapes Romper in the Salmon and Grey color.
For shoes you could do these Black Faux Suede Pumps or a pair of these Black Five Strap Platform Sandals both from Forever 21. For accessories try these Gold/Green Lacquered Circle Earrings and this Coral/Orange Island Flower Ring.
If you wanted to dress this printed romper down, do these Leatherette Cut-Out Sandals in black or tan. For accessories, go ahead and tone it down with the Gold Textured Hoop Earrings and Burnished Gold/Multi-Colored Bracelet.

Another route you can go to dress your printed romper up is to pair a blazer with it. For example, this picture to the right of new blog favorite, Kourtney Kardashian. She has on a coral and white printed romper with a white blazer. She completed the outfit with a pair of light brown t-strap platform sandals and a gold bangle.
To get a fly, similar look to this one, pair this Black Cotton-Blend Blazer with this Black/Cream Tiki Print Romper. Add a pop of color Faux-Suede T-Strap Platform Sandals in fuchsia or royal blue. For accessories, do a pair of Large Silver Hoops and this Silver Etched Leaves Bangle.

The last look comes from Kourtney Kardashian again, because she's just so FLY!! In the picture below to the left, Kourtney dressed up a plain black ruffle romper with a pair of wedge heels and a few bangles.

Start with this Snap Button Romper w/Belt in the brick color. For shoes, do a neutral color pair of heels like these Tan Wide T-Strap Wedges. For accessories, you can do a pair of the simple gold "LOVE" studs that were listed above. Pair the studs with this Leopard Details Bangle.

If you want to dress this romper down, just do the pair of braided suedette sandals in the beige or brown color or even the Taupe Pointed Leatherette Flats, and keep the same accessories.

Well ladies we hope you enjoyed this post and our series on summer essentials. Next week will be a very informative post, so you should definitely look forward to it and stay tuned!!

Motivational Monday

Don't be anxious about anything; rather bring up all your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Jesus Christ. -Philippians 4:6-7

Whenever you are worried about something or really want something bad, it sounds easier said then done, but just give your worries to God. Pray about it and thank him in advance for it. After that, you no longer have to worry because he has your back and will always bless you with what is good and right for you.

Summer Essential Tips: Special Edition

For today's post, we decided to do a special edition post for summer essentials. About 2 weeks ago, one of out supporters/followers gave us the suggestion to do a tip for all the fearless, expecting women out there. So that's just what this post will be about! For the past 2 weeks we've been giving the ladies and men tips over summer essentials. Week one was over summer dresses for the ladies and this week was over shorts for both.  For this post, we're going to give you tips and outfit suggestions on both! So sit back, relax, and enjoy! :-)

Tip 1: Dresses

Now who said being pregnant couldn't be glamorous? Dresses are one of many things that can be worn casually and dressy while one is expecting. First we're going to start out will a picture and look from Nicole Richie.

Seen to the right, Nicole Richie has on a plain black dress with a printed, sheer shawl, and black strappy heels. For accessories, she just went with a long, gold necklace and a ring on her right hand. This dress can be worn both casually and on the dressy like like Nicole did. Start with this Black Sleeveless Twist Neck Detail Dress from Motherhood. You could wear this with no cover-up since it's hot, or if there is a nice breeze outside and you get a little chilly, try this Denim Jacket and roll the sleeves up. Because the denim jacket is so versatile, you can wear this outfit with either these Black Multi-Strap Cuffed Sandals for a casual look or these Black Nautical Knotted Wedges to dress it up. For accessories, give the outfit a pop of color with this Turquoise/Brown Spirited Boho Necklace,  Turquoise Heart Studs, and Coral/Gold Cracked Stone Ring. If you wanted to do a longer black dress here is the longer black dress for more of a nighttime look, try this Black Spaghetti Strap Maxi Dress.

If you want to do a dress with some color in it, try this Fuchsia Wide Strap Dress from Old Navy-Maternity. For shoes do these Baja Woven Multi-Color Sandals. For accessories, keep it simple since there's already some color going on with these Gold Textured Hoop Earrings and just this Gold 4 Finger Knuckle Ring. To take this casual dress on a more dressy side, do these Royal Blue Pumps if you're feeling fancy and keep the same accessories.

Tip #2: Shorts

We couldn't really find any picture of pregnant celebrities in shorts, but we did find a casual outfit of a pregnant Halle Berry in denim jeans. We will show you how to recreate the outfit to cater to the weather and of course how to wear it casually, dressy, and switch the type of shorts.

As seen to the left, Halle has on a black blazer, a plain v-neck tee, and a pair of jeans. For shoes she had on a pair of grey boots. It obviously had to be fall time or spring due to all the layers, but we can tell you how to make this a summer outfit. Start with these Denim Cuff Shorts or if you wanted to do a longer pair, try these Cuffed Denim Capris. For the top you could do this V-Neck Tee in the Deep Taupe color. For shoes, try this pair of Gold Sandals and accessories do this Leopard Details Bangle Set with the Turquoise Heart Studs and Turquoise/Brown Boho Feather necklace in the tip above for dresses. If you wanted to dress the denim shorts up do the same tee in the wispy mauve color, this pair of Tan Wide T-Strap Wedges, and this Tan Button Blazer  from Emommie and cuff the sleeves. For accessories, just do a pair of Large Gold Hoops with that Leopard Details Bangle Set.

If you wanted to do a pair of cargo shorts, try these Khaki Cargos and the same tee from Gap-Maternity but in White. For shoes, keep it casual with a pair of sandals, yet make the outfit pop with this pair of Bright Royal Blue Sandals. For accessories, do this pair of Silver LOVE studs and this Silver/Pink Girl Charm Necklace and you're all set!

We hope that we gave you a few tips you can use throughout this post and we really enjoy researching and writing it. Thanks Jumesha for the suggestion! Everyone else, don't be shy. Let us know what you want to see! :-)

Summer Essential #Two for Men!

If you haven't browsed the site already to figure out what your tip is this week, we'll go ahead and let you know! This week your second summer essential is shorts. This doesn't mean just one pair, we encourage you to have multiple; so check out the looks below and get some advice on how you can wear these ever needed pieces of clothing during the summer!

As we did with the ladies we're going to start you off with the denim shorts. Denim is a must/need in every persons closet, and when it comes to the summer time denim shorts are where it's at. Check out our boy Pharrell Williams, with his lightly distressed cuffed denim shorts. Keeping this look simple he went with a white v-neck, a green belt, and some magenta boat shoes. He didn't do too much with accessories either, just some black shades and a large gold wrist watch. Although Pharrell kept it rather simple when it came to dressing his denim shorts; there is no reason why you can't do a little extra when it comes to wearing them.

How about trying a graphic tee like this one, or a graphic tank with your denim shorts. No one says that you have to cuff them at the bottom, but if you wanted to give them a different look you should try it out. It will allow you to give the same denim shorts 2 different looks. For shoes some low top shoes will work out great. If you're going to do the white v-neck you may do a bright shoe like these to spice up the outfit. And if you are going to do one of the graphic shirts try some neutral shoes.
sn: don't have any denim shorts?..take those pair of jeans that are too short for you now and cut them into shorts!

Now let's look at some docker shorts. These shorts are normally really bright in color so it's really not too hard to put together an outfit with these. We suggest doing a white v-neck tee as Pharrell did with his denim shorts and a neutral colored shoe. However if you check out Kanye's outfit you can see that you can pull these shorts off with a button up shirt. It looks as though he was trying to pull the whole preppy look off. As you can see he has on a  rain coat along with his button up shirt, but considering these outrageously hot days we've been having..putting one on those on would be a NO NO..lol

To do a look similar to Kanye's, in this weather what about a short sleeve button up like this, tucked in to some dockers. Overlap this look with a light brown belt to stand out amongst the color of the shirt and shorts. For shoes, as suggest earlier you may do some neutral shoes like these to keep the look together.

Not wanting to do the button up shirt? As always a graphic tee or white v-neck will work out grand! ;)

Last but not least let's check out some dressy shorts. When it comes to material these shorts are normally a light linen fabric which keeps you pretty cool when it comes to these hot summer days!
We have Johannes Huebl wearing some white light knit shorts. His look is more on the dressed up side and this is done by the other pieces that are put with the shorts. First off, he has on a dark blue button up shirt and for shoes he has on some brown suede dress shoes. Cuffing the sleeves on the shirt really add some flare to this look. His accessories only go as far as some black ray bans. Overall, he kept it rather simple..yet the outfit is dressy enough to go to an event in.

For yourself what if you tried on some shorts like these ones, or these. Take one of your darker colored button-ups from the closet and roll up the sleeves. For shoes, try something similar to these. Mr. Huebl kept his look really simple, so to take it a step further what if you threw on a vest over the shirt? And maybe put on a necklace similar to this one?
We suggest these items just because we envision this outfit being something that you would wear to a night event. Also, we don't expect to see anyone in the middle of the day when it's around one hundred&3 out wearing a long sleeve button up and a vest on top of that. Unless of course your plans were to pass out on the side of the street? o_O lol

Johannes' outfit looks very similar to our friend Tarricke's outfit from his Feature Friday! Great outfit idea Tarricke your looking like one of the celebs..Call us biased but we like yours better Tarricke! =)

Alright, so hopefully this was not an information overload for you guys out there! Did you find something that was of use to you or anything that caught your attention? Leave us some feedback below in the comment section! Thanks again for all the support!

Summer Essential#2 for the ladies: Shorts

Last week we gave you summer essential #1, the summer dress, an extremely versatile and ESSENTIAL piece of clothing for the summer. This week, we're giving you summer essential #2 , shorts! Shorts are probably the most versatile piece of clothing one could own. We will be giving you tips on the different ways you can wear them and how to get the celebrity look but make it your own.

Tip 1: Denim Shorts

Out of all the looks we will show you, this one will probably be the easiest and cheapest to achieve, but it will still be very fashionable. Denim shorts are also the most versatile of all the shorts we will show you in today's post. They can be dressed up and down with ease with a quick change of casual shoes to a pair of heels!

To the left, Ciara is seen wearing a pair of cuffed denim shorts and a graphic, white v-neck tee. For shoes and accessories she did a pair of black lace-up combat boots, a silver necklace, and a few silver bangles. A very casual, yet stylish outfit that is easy and fast to achieve if you need to get dressed quickly.
You can still recreate this outfit if you don't have the same exact pieces, which we recommend anyway to kind of make it your own.
Start out with a pair of these Denim Black Fab Classic Cuffed Denim Shorts for only $10.50 from our favorite store, Forever 21. Then, you could do this Marvel Comics Striped Tank and layer a cami or tank underneath of a color that's not in the shirt to make it pop, like this Fab Knit Cami in Green . For shoes and accessories, try a pair of lace-ups similar to these Black Comrade Lace Up Combat Boots and keep it simple with just a pair of hoops and a bangle like these Large Gold Hoops and this Gold and Black Bamboo Bracelet.
To take this outfit on the dressy casual side, lose the green cami and layer the comics tank under this Short Sleeve Slub Knit Cardigan in Green. You can do the same cuffed shorts, but try them in the indigo color. For accessories, do these Turquoise Heart of Stone Studs and Brown/Gold Leopard Details Bangle Set for a pop of color and pattern. As far as shoes, just do a pair of simple pumps something similar to these Brown Faux Wood Platform Pumps.

Tip 2: Cargo Shorts

Cargo shorts are also really versatile too. They can be dressed down with a simple tank or graphic tee and sandals or dressed up with a chiffon- like material peasant top and a pair of pumps. In the picture above, LC  has on a cream, sheer peasant top with a camisole layered underneath and green/olive linen-cargo type shorts. This outfit would be great on a date or just a shopping trip with the girls.
A way you could recreate the outfit casually would be to start out with these Brown Drawstring Cargo Shorts from Charlotte Russe. Pair it with this Oatmeal Color Basic Racerback Tank and pair of these Gold Braided Thong Sandals. For accessories, you could this Gold/Turquoise/Brown Spirited Boho Necklace with the pair of Turquoise Heart of Stone Studs and Brown/Gold Leopard Details Bangle Set listed above.
To dress the cargo shorts up, try the same shorts in Olive and tuck in this Coral/White Edgy Stripes Top but let it relax over the drawstring; also, layer a tan camisole underneath since the shirt is a little thin. For shoes, do something similar to these Cognac/Brown Multi Buckle Strap Sandal Heels. As for accessories, do a pair of gold hoops like these Large Gold Hoops that were listed above in the first tip with this Tribal Swirls Bangle Set.

Tip 3: Dressy Shorts

Last but certainly not least, tip 3 comes from Queen B herself. She is seen in somewhat of a dressy outfit with silk-blend type shorts, an off the shoulder sweater top, and strappy pumps. For accessories, she layered multiple necklaces and then just did a simple watch.
To recreate this outfit, try it differently by starting with these Silk Self-Tie Tribal Shorts for print on bottom. For a blouse, do this White Woven Peasant Top with a Basic Camisole layered underneath in Jade to add a pop of color. For shoes do something similar to these Nude Color Block Pumps to add another pop of color while staying in the neutral color palette. For accessories, try the same simple Large Gold Hoops with this Brown/Gold Dainty Spring Bangle Set
If you want to do a pair of plain dressy shorts and print on top, you could do these Grey Crepe Tie Front Shorts from Agaci with this Black/Hot Pink Tribal Stripes Contrast Tank. For shoes and accessories you could do this pair of Black Color Block Pumps with these Silver Layered Hoop Earrings and Silver Textured Bangles.

As we said and you can see, shorts are very versatile and come in all different prints, materials, and lengths. We hope we gave you some helpful insight on something that you didn't already know and gave you some outfit ideas to look fashionable while keeping cool!

Motivational Monday

"A man's heart may be full of designs, but the purpose of the Lord is unchanging." -Proverbs 19:21

Your heart may be full of plans and designs of what you want to do in life and you may have all wrote down and planned out, but what God has written for you and your life is unchanging and will always stand. We know some of us may not know our exact purpose in life, but it'll take some prayer and meditation and really listen. We found a great blog entry on purpose that we think many would find useful and enjoy. Just click on the words "Purpose Blog" below and it should open right up! :-)
