Motivational Monday

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. - 1Peter 4:10

We chose this scripture because it's basically what VintageMahogani. is ultimately about. We plan to make it more than just a blog and to actually give back to others. Just through the fashion blog alone we hope that we are actually teaching our viewers/readers about things so that they will ultimately be confident in themselves. This should be a scripture that everyone should try to live by. Whatever gift(s) you have been blessed with, use them to help one another somehow.

Motivational Monday

Don't be anxious about anything; rather bring up all your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Jesus Christ. -Philippians 4:6-7

Whenever you are worried about something or really want something bad, it sounds easier said then done, but just give your worries to God. Pray about it and thank him in advance for it. After that, you no longer have to worry because he has your back and will always bless you with what is good and right for you.

Motivational Monday

"A man's heart may be full of designs, but the purpose of the Lord is unchanging." -Proverbs 19:21

Your heart may be full of plans and designs of what you want to do in life and you may have all wrote down and planned out, but what God has written for you and your life is unchanging and will always stand. We know some of us may not know our exact purpose in life, but it'll take some prayer and meditation and really listen. We found a great blog entry on purpose that we think many would find useful and enjoy. Just click on the words "Purpose Blog" below and it should open right up! :-)
