Time for Turquoise!

This week we're going to push back the fellas post to Thursday, considering that we're posting for the ladies today...Well as you can tell by the title this week we are going to be taking a look at some outfits with the incorporation of the color, turquoise! It's one of those colors that you see year round, yet in the spring/summer is when you're most likely to see it most.

First up we're going to look at some jean looks with color. As you can see both Kim Kardashian and Julissa Bermudez are wearing a lighter shade of turquoise skinny jeans. Kim is giving us more of a causal look, played down with the cream tee and bomber jacket over top. The grey sandals add to the causal aspect of the look. Her glasses, handbag, and jacket all add a little flair to the look, but compared to Julissa's it is on the casual side. Julissa's turquoise is complimented by a black fringe top, strappy sandals, and a black clutch. As you can see she is on some "red-carpet", further allowing us to believe that this look is dressier, along with the help of the high-heeled sandal and fancy top. Both of these looks are rather simple to recreate, yet we want to give you some tips to create something similar but still your own.

Considering that it is summer time it would be acceptable to start with a pair of turquoise shorts. However, if you're not into showing your legs jeans are appropriate all throughout the year. With that you're going to want to either go causal or dressy. If you checked out the shorts you'll notice that they have some detailing on them, meaning you will want to keep your shirt pretty simple. Something like this loose flowing shirt will give you your causal look. For your dressy look give this button-up top a try. Your shoes and accessories should coordinate back to the look you are wanting to achieve. A heel would be more appropriate for the dressier look, and a flat sandal for the causal.

Next we'll check out some looks from a few lovely ladies;  just to show how you can wear the color. From the left we have Emily B., Kendall Jenner, and Hayden Panettiere.

Finally we wanted to show you a not so obvious turquoise look. If look to your right to see Beyonce in an all black look with a pop of color given off by her shoes. They really give the look that extra oomph that they need to really make this look BAD (which means good in this case lol). We suggest that if you are wanting to do a subtle addition of turquoise to your look to try and do something similar to this. Throw in some turquoise accessories or shoes to give you just what you need to add some flair to your look.
Remember ladies, if you're unsure about how to put together a look with this color keep it simple or do it in moderations. We gave you quite a bit of looks to get some ideas from, so hopefully you'll walk away from this post inspired!
