Time for Turquoise: Men's Edition.

Well men we have reached the day for your post. Normally we post for you guys on Wednesdays, but we're changing it up just a little this week. So for future post, check on Wednesdays unless notified. Anyways....let's dive into some great ways of incorporating the color turquoise into your spring/summer wardrobe. Like the yellow we discussed [quite a few weeks ago] turquoise is a very bold color and you have to be up for the challenge to pull it off confidently. Continue reading to get some tips on how to do so.

First up, we want you guys to see that it is possible to pull off a turquoise blazer. Yes, we know that this is a model on a runway, however this look can easily be transferred to an "average joe" outfit.

Now, considering that this is going to be for a summer outfit it's smart to go with a lighter material blazer** or a light knit cardigan. To allow the color of the blazer to stand out we suggest going with a white v-neck underneath. Depending on the occasion either a nice pair of khakis or a dark wash jean would be perfect for your bottoms. Shoe wise you should go with something that is going to compliment the pants that you have on..meaning if you do some jeans, you could do a pair of Chuck Taylor's. and for your khaki's a nice pair of lace up boots would really give the look the dressy quality that it needs. As you can see it doesn't take much to make a blazer this bold look good; what really matters is that you keep the rest of the look simple and crisp allowing the blazer to do what it needs to for the outfit..which is, pull it together.

Moving right along, we wanted to show you fellas that if you want to incorporate turquoise into your wardrobe subtly you are able to do so. Just check out Trey to the right. He has on a light knit sweater with turquoise stripes on it, over top of that he has on a tan modern fit blazer. For bottoms, he has on some salmon colored cargo shorts really allowing the color on the sweater to top. He's wearing turquoise, moderately but it is just enough to really allow the outfit to draw attention.

Here are some similar tops that give off just enough color to set you apart from others:

Finally, we want you guys to take a look at how these gentlemen put together some outfits with the color turquoise. Not saying that we want you all to completely take their looks, rather take some inspiration and make it your own. As always remember to keep it simple and you can never go wrong. Regardless what your outfit looks like, if you know that you look good in it..you'll be able to convince others that you're confident in your look.

We hope you all enjoyed the post, stay tuned!! Leave comments & questions below!
