SPRINGfashionFORWARD: COLOR!!!

Hey guys, we know it's been awhile since we posted or did a series.... it's been a little hectic here lately with fashion show planning and everything but...WE'RE BACK!!! For the next few weeks, we're going to be doing our SPRING::fashion::FORWARD series..teaching you how to "Spring Forward" fashionably. We're going to start with a great color for spring....YELLOW! With that being said...let's hop into today's post!

To the left we see Kim Kardashian in a very FASHION Forward YELLOW blazer...which is a great color for the spring. She paired her yellow blazer with a simple white button up and a pair of black legging pants with leather detailing. For accessories and shoes, she went with a pair of simple stud earrings to compensate for her over-sized sunglasses and handbag, a gold necklace, and plain black pumps. 

This look is very very simple to achieve....just start with something like this Golden Yellow Blazer  from Urban Outfitters. For a more casual look you can do a plain t-shirt in  dark gray and pair the blazer and plain t-shirt with a pair of Dark Skinny Jeans. For accessories, keep it simple since you are doing a casual look and maybe just do a White Watch and a pair of stud earrings. To complete your casual look with this blazer go with this pair of Blue and White Lace Up Floral Flats.

For another casual YELLOW look ...look to the right at these distressed, high-waist denim shorts. Start out with a pair of them like these distressed denim shorts or even these longer, distressed boyfriend fit jean shorts...either pair would look great w/something like this Yellow V-Neck Tee. As far as accessories go..do a pair of stud earrings and a bangle like this Turquoise and Black Southwest Print Bracelet. For your shoes you can do this pair of Black & Cream Printed Tennis Shoes with the regular distressed shorts and a pair of lace-ups to go with the boyfriend fit shorts. 

Moving right along to Yellow Look 2...

Here we have Kim K...AGAIN..giving us another look in yellow. It's kind of a casual-dressy look. 

She has on a lightweight, chiffon dress in a bright/neon yellow...which is PERFECT for the spring time all the way around. Then she kept her accessories simple with a pair of stud earrings and sunglasses. To complete her look, she went with a pair of chunky, royal blue lace up wedges. 

This look is another easy one to achieve! Start with something like this yellow sleeveless chiffon material dress  ... throw a jean jacket over it and make the dress pop with something like this pair of red and pink sandals . To accessorize this outfit go with a pair of simple gold studs and do something like this  light blue and gold regal wooden bracelet.

...and there you have it!





On to the last spring yellow look...!

The last look comes from Keri Hilson from the Billboard Music Awards. She has on a yellow dress with chiffon sleeves and cinched the waist with a turquoise belt. For a shoes she went with a pair of tan, strappy heels and carried a clutch to go with the shoes. This look like all the other looks are fairly easy to achieve...so start out with this chiffon yellow dress. Instead of trying to really replicate this look by cinching the waist with the color pop belt, try those efforts elsewhere and do this Gold/Green/Blue ring . For shoes, go ahead and go with this pair of fuchsia peep toe wedges. For accessories just go with a pair of studs and you're dressy yellow look is complete!!!
