Coral Craze: Men's Edition.

Just as we did with the ladies this week, we are going to look into some coral looks for you fellas. As we stated yesterday coral comes in many different shades and it is up to you which shade you want to go with.

Coral ranges from a pink to a red, to a orange color, as seen in the photo to the left. Along with these shades, there are also brightened ones and muted ones. All in all they all are apart of the coral shades.

First up we are going to look at Mr. Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat. Considering the team that he plays for it is very fitting for him to wear a color such as coral. (Miami is known for being very vibrant and upbeat when it comes to fashion). For this photo, he was styled in a coral colored suit; the blazer is fitted with raised sleeves, while the pants of this suit are loose fitting and could very well be a pair of shorts. The stylist paired this suit look with a white tee, and some bronze colored necklaces. We are not so sure on the shoes but we think that a pair of lace-up boots would go amazing with this look.

Now we searched and searched and the only suit that we could find in a coral color was close to $500 from Saks Fifth Avenue ( $300 just for the blazer). So our solution to this is that if you desire to have a coral blazer is to check your local thrift store. They normally carry rare colors of blazers for great prices.

For a similar look, we suggest that you start with a light knit coral vest cardigan and place a white graphic tank underneath. For pants we suggest that you go with a khaki pant or short depending on what the weather is feeling like that day. For shoes we suggest that you go with a sneaker or even a sandal; make sure you get that pedicure. =) To add to the look, throw on a few necklaces to really play into Dwyane's look.

There you have it similar to this look, but still very casual and perfect for the summer time.

Next, moving to some coral on the bottom half of your body. Here we have a man in some cut-off coral shorts, black hooded knit sweater, and a button up light blue shirt. For shoes he kept it casual with a pair of blue keds or vans. What we can say about this look is that it is very casual and it would not take much to revamp this look into your own.
Start with either a short or coral pant. Again, depending on the weather that day you decide if you want to go with a short/pant. Next take a pin-striped button-up shirt, giving you a similar vibe to this look. For shoes try out some tan loafers, keeping your look dressy-casual. Finally we suggest that you throw on a jean jacket to give this outfit a little flare.

Obviously so, we gave you some different pieces to thrown in for this look. This shows you that you can take a little from a look and make it your own by switching some pieces out. Such as the hooded sweater for the jean jacket, for the warmer months.

Our final look is from Usher. He is seen in a very casual look here and we just wanted to show that coral can be worn in just about any look. He has on a neon coral v-neck with a flannel over top. He has on some dark jeans with, a red shoe to coordinate back to the flannel.

We searched around for you for a few different tops in a coral that you can pair with just about any bottom. Just remember to keep your look simple when starting out with a new color/print and you can go no wrong.

Coral will continue to be a big hit this summer, and we suggest that you give it a try. Whether it is a shirt, blazer, or pant; we think that if you follow the outfit ideas that we gave you, you'll look spectacular. Till next week, fellas!

xoxo VM.
