V-Day Outfit Ideas.

Hello Ladies, this week we wanted to give you a few simple outfits for Valentine's Day. Now whether your going on a very special date, or going out with your girls we're sure that one of these looks will work for you.

jessica alba red jeans 2011Let's start off with a simple jeans look. As we all know this week has started off pretty chilly, so looking to some jeans to keep you warm is definitely an option. This look would be appropriate to wear to class or even for a cute Valentine's Day Lunch. The jeans are just enough to keep the V-Day spirit alive.
Recreating this would only take some red or even pink jeans and a loose fitting white top. Now depending on the look you want you could do a graphic tee for class and then for a possible lunch or evening date throw on a dressier blouse. After you decide on your top grab your black blazer, and some cute black boots, oxfords, or tennis shoes..again depending on where you are going. As for your accessories go simple. Such as a nice bracelet and necklace, similar to Jessica's.
Hair and Makeup for class or your special lunch should be kept simple..i.e. ponytail or soft curls..nude lip, extra mascara, and light blush. Adding a little eyeshadow and tinted lip color will do just the trick to transform the look from day to night.
Either way you go with this look you will look amazing! Keep in mind you want to be simple when it comes to everything besides the jeans. We say this because the jeans are making a loud enough statement for you.

Moving right along, let's take a look at a few options for date looks!

Now whether you like the skirt look or dress, we want to give you some options. Specifically, Cute vs Classy.
Here we have a very cute look from Rihanna. Her red skirt is giving us just what we need for Valentine's Day. Her grey boustiee allows the skirt to really make a statement. The bow and small gold chain are the right accessories for this look.
Recreating this would not take much. Take a similar pocketed red skirt, with this detailed bustier. Some shoes in nude, or even a grey color will go great with this outfit. To add the cute aspects to the look, put on this bow, and cute detailed locket. And there you have it..an exact recreation of Rihanna's look.
Don't have all these pieces, a spaghetti strap tank or fitted tee will be just fine. The only piece that is recommended for a similar look is the bow. Everything else can be substituted.

We're going to finish this post off with a Classy look given to you by Gabrielle Union. Yes, we noticed that she has yellow accents but we suggest that you substitute those yellow colors with red. It would be just enough red to be appropriate for the occasion. We wanted to give you all an alternate base color (the black dress) instead of starting with a red or pink.
We suggest pulling out your favorite little black dress and grabbing a coral skinny belt. If you have a red clutch, and black strapy pumps you are set for the night! This look is very simple to recreate and honestly we would say that if you don't want to spend the time creating the other two looks, this would be the quickest.

Hopefully you saw an outfit of interest or something that you can get some inspiration from. These looks are not only appropriate for Valentine's Day but for any occasion. The red can easily be taken out and you can include another color that you see fit.

Happy Valentine's Day
