"The Last Day of My Life" Movie Review

Created by one of the most brilliant, up-and-coming movie makers/directors around, Thomas A. Glenn, “The Last Day of My Life” takes place in a college town with a multi-cultural and equally talented cast. This suspenseful, three-part movie series is set to be released September 13, 2011. We had the honor of a full preview of the first part and we can honestly say that it really took us through every emotion but gradually and tastefully. Every character played their role well and made us believe what they were saying and doing, which always makes for a good film. With smooth transitions, every storyline was easy to follow but makes you think and realize that every part has a deeper meaning that will leave you anticipating and longing for more.

From a fashion perspective, the clothing did the film justice as far as it fitting the characters well. For example, Sex in the City is a movie that has a basis of glamour, so of course the characters would have glamorous clothing which would add value to the character’s believability. “The Last Day of My Life” had the same element of tastefully chosen wardrobe to fit the role of each person’s character in the movie. From the Bad BoyZZ casual wardrobe with the fitted caps and plain tees to play upon their chill, bad boy persona; to the all work and no-play college student’s preppy Aeropostale shirt and cargo shorts. Also, Paint Clothing Company, a popular fashion line started by students at the University of Oklahoma, was featured and worn well with pieces of clothing that didn’t overshadow the brand. Overall, wardrobe is an element of a movie that is overlooked by many people concerning the issue of making characters believable, but it was highly appreciated in this case.

If you’re looking for a thrilling movie that taps into every emotion possible, this is your best bet. It was truly an honor to preview the movie and write this review and we hope that all of you will be at the “The Last Day of My Life” Part 1 movie premiere tomorrow night! You are in for a treat.
