Well today is Wednesday, so you know what that means…it’s time for another: Men’s Feature! Considering that we started Tuesday off with some tips about blazers, it’s only fitting that we do the same for the men. When you think of a blazer being dressed up, you may automatically think that you have to be wearing an all out tux. However, that is not the case. Throwing on a pair of dark wash jeans and some nice shoes can achieve a dressed up look with a blazer. Or, like Kanye you can mix two pieces of suits together; giving you more of an eclectic look, versus the traditional look of the full suit. Either way you put these tips in to play, your blazer should be on the dressed up side!
Now let's move on to more of a casual look for men's blazers. As shown to our right, Justin Timberlake has achieved a casual look while still wearing a blazer. Although a blazer in some minds may be thought of as a dressy piece of clothing, pairing it with the right pieces can allow for a casual look. Justin's wide legged trousers, and dusty combat boots, really give you that feeling of an outfit that he just so happened to throw on which = casual. Another way to achieve a casual look with a blazer, is to throw on a plain/graphic tee underneath your blazer with perhaps some light wash denim jeans. As far as shoes go, you could do some chuck taylors or nike dunks...just keep it real laid back...
